Does anybody truly have control of their own minds? Can the instrument of our own control—ourselves—really take control of itself? Can control (that which has become us) control (command and manipulate) control (that which is to become us)?
We are wild animals, condemned to live in the cage we have built and disguised as a city, a society, a way of life. But this is no way to spend our lives.
Discipline teaches children to live in submission to the world around them, to follow and reteach the same rules they were taught, without question, to fit into society so that it will never change.
